Meet the Sound Designer for Conversation Storm/The House of Cards

Published by at 1:30 am under Uncategorized

I am incredibly excited to announce the addition to the Conversation Storm/The House of Cars crew: sound designer Jeff Gardner. I met with Jeff yesterday and we had a dynamite conversation about the two plays. In fact, it’s conversations like that that are among the best moments of theatermaking.

Jeff is an actor/sound designer born and raised in Los Angeles. Favorite design credits include JUNO & THE PAYCOCK @ The Odyssey Theatre, DEATHTROUPE starring Fred Willard at the Grove Theatre and THE WIVES directed by the late Charles Nelson Reilly. As an actor Jeff has worked in Washington D.C. where he appeared in LITTLE WOMEN at the Kennedy Center, SKYLIGHT at The Studio Theatre, HENRY V, HENRY VI (parts I-III) and MEASURE FOR MEASURE, all at the Shakespeare Theatre. Other regional credits include OUR TOWN and THE SEAGULL (w/ Gwyneth Paltrow and Christopher Walken) at Williamstown Theatre Festival in Massachusetts and most recently in KING LEAR @ The Antaeus Company in North Hollywood.

Welcome Jeff! We are very grateful to have you! And thanks to my Yale peep Elizabeth Greer for helping us make the connection!
